This resource hub brings together our guides to hypochlorous acid (HOCl). Use it to find comparisons, handling precautions and storage information for hard-surface disinfection; it is not a guide to skin care or application to people.
Start with the product label
Solus’s Multi-Purpose Disinfectant holds Health Canada biocide market authorization no. 02557371. Its current label concentration is 367 ppm free available chlorine. Use only on authorized hard, non-porous surfaces and follow the current label and SDS for surfaces, methods, contact times and PPE.
The label recommends a potable-water rinse after application on surfaces or objects that may directly contact infants or toddlers, animals, food, feed, or drinking water. Do not treat it as universally no-rinse. Solus ships within Canada only.
